Welcome to our hostel in central Athens! Nestled between the ancient Acropolis, the lively fleamarket of Monastiraki, and the bohemian Psirri quarter, Fivos offers a haven for our guests in the heart of the old city. We provide the budget traveler with a friendly atmosphere, and affordable services. Fivos has clean, simple rooms with private bathrooms and dormitories. All rooms are air-conditioned, with central heating and WiFi access. There is a breakfast bar and roof area with views of the Acropolis.
Fivos is located in the historic city. It is a short stroll from all the major archaeological sites such as Hadrian’s Library, the Tower of the Winds, the Temple of Hephaestus, the Stoa of Attalos and the ancient Kerameikos Cemetary. The Acropolis itself lies a mere 20 minutes away by foot. You can lose yourself in the cobbled streets of Plaka for some good food and traditional Greek dancing, hunt for souvenirs in Monastiraki, see Athens’ main shopping parade, Ermou St, and go for drinks in Psirri.
The transport links are excellent. We are next to Monastiraki Metro station, which connects directly to the Athens airport (45 minutes), and Pireaus sea port (30 minutes).
