About Us
We are a family-run taverna where authentic Cretan dishes are made with fresh, home-grown produce. We are proud to be able to share with you what we know best, Cretan Cuisine, which is famous for being among the healthiest around the world as well as the one of the tastiest.
Our Story
Every corner of our space has a story to tell. Images that are still alive. Just like many years ago, pictures of our grandmother Katerina sitting in the corner, wrapping “dolmadakia”(stuffed vine leaves), of our grandfather Aris that holds fresh village meat, of his Fisherman friend coming to visit with freshly caught fish in his hand. Irresistible smell of the sea that brings us feeling of being alive. On the one side of the table lies plate with “sardeles”(sardines) and on the other one Xoriatiki(Cretan Salad), with vegetables that smell like where just picked up from the garden. Images of family friends fulfilling the space with their stories that harmoniously complete warmth of our grandparents hospitality.
